HBWell, a health, beauty and wellness app, raised over 450,000€ through Fellow Funders

Investment round finalised for HBWell
The beauty sector alone moves more than 7,000 million euros in Spain, which added to the 1,025 million in dental health and 418 million per year in ophthalmology, make this business area a more than interesting investment option. Under this premise, Fellow Funders has just closed a funding round for HBWell, an app in the health, beauty and wellness sector that works as a search engine and offers guarantees and financing possibilities.
“HBWell is a project committed to health, innovation and new technologies and is also easily scalable globally; it has all the necessary ingredients to attract the attention of investors.” explains Francisco Mariscal, CEO of Fellow Funders. And so it has happened: the funding round they launched, which has just closed, had a target of €400,000 but has finally raised 13% more than expected. “We have exceeded €450,000 and there were still more interested parties who were unable to participate in this round.”, explains Mariscal.
As Diego J. Guerrero, CEO of HBWell, explains, “With this app we have managed to cover 3 major needs of the sector. On the one hand, we help the user in the purchase decision, with a filtered search and offering financing and payment facilities. On the other hand, the centre or clinic directly reaches the end customer, thus standing out in an increasingly competitive environment. Finally, we provide the opportunity for professionals in the sector to interact and expand their network of contacts, creating a direct link with their patients and revaluing themselves”.
Future expectations
The project and the idea are working so well that HBWEll is already planning to go international. “This project has unlimited global scalability, 90% of digital users use their mobile devices to consume, and the health, beauty and wellness sector works in all countries”, says Francisco Mariscal, CEO of Fellow Funders. “In less than 6 months we will be present in 17 countries, with the potential to be working in 50 countries in the next 36 months”, explains Diego J. Guerrero.
HBWell has closed this round through the Spanish Equity Crowdfunding platform Fellow Funders, with the participation of 60 investors, with a minimum investment of €397. “With this initiative we have opened the investment opportunity to anyone who wants to participate in this business project. Undoubtedly, thanks to Fellow Funders, viable projects like HBWell have a unique opportunity to find the necessary support to finance their growth”, explains HBWell’s CEO.
