Due to Spanish state of alarm and the crisis we are experiencing as a result of the coronavirus, many people are being affected, so aiming to help the most affected tenants due to this situation, Alquiler Seguro (Safe Rental) has created a rental assistance program.
Alquiler Seguro, the first Spanish company dedicated to the integral management of rent, has launched this program including measures such as the deferral or rents reduction. In addition, according to the company, numerous owners have contacted them with the intention of collaborating.
This programme is aimed primarily at freelances affected by this crisis who have been forced to stop their activity and the tenants affected by temporary employment regulation (ERTEs) files.
“In Alquiler Seguro we have always opted for Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) policies. And in this case more than ever, we want to help make the situation for the families most affected by the crisis as bearable as possible. So we are going to channel the solidarity of the landlords to reach precisely them, those who need it most”, said Antonio Carroza, from Alquiler Seguro, who has also explained that within the policies of CSR, the work team has been strengthened and that they will address all requests and offer to ensure that the aid reaches those who really need it.
As Carroza has announced, the company is currently managing both tenant requests and landlord offerings throughout its CSR area and continue to work in order to consider the owners’ solidarity as donations and so can be deducted in the income tax return.
